This weeks most irresponsible parent award goes to…….
ME!!!!! I admit I screwed up. It’s Monday morning and I slept in (which I needed due to a stomach bug). Wacko and Dot have been great, playing together, eating all their breakfast, and just leaving me alone with my stomach. Then I talk to Poppa who asks why Wacko wasn’t in school. Oh my God, It’s monday morning and Wacko has school. We quickly threw the shoes on and flew out of the house. He still has one good hour of school. At least it’s only preschool, I wont have to deal with a principal. Of course he’s wearing his batman pj’s, but then he wore his spiderman ones for pictures lastyear. He did put them on this morning so he could play batman and Cyber girl with Dot. Now there’s only one thing to do….find a way to remember next week so this doesn’t happen again.

We all have a “screw up parent day”, that is what makes it so fun! If you did everything right everyday and you and the kids were so predictable, think how boring life would be. My big mistake, cutting Jake’s hair in a mohawk this summer, and now he refuses to cut it. Last Friday was school pictures, that means grandparents, family, yearbook, etc. will get the long lasting memory of the youngest, little, punk rocker.
