Happy Dance time!
“Fall TV, Falll TV! I Love my Fall Tv” Sing it with me now—”FallTV…..” I’m so excited. The season premier of Prison Break was on tonight. That is a brillaint show. I admit it is frastrauting at times. But I love hanging on the edge waiting to see what will happen next. I think this will be a great season.
Soon Veronica Mars will be starting too. My other shows will be coming too. It’s just so wonderfull to start having all my old friends back.
On the subject of TV. I reccomend to everyone to watch Meerkat Manor on the Animal Planet Channel. We started that this weekend. The whole family loves it. It has everything, romance, comedy, suspense, it is just great entertainment. It’s a half hour show taken from three years of scientific footage that followed a clan of meerkats around out in the wild. It’s amazing the social infrastructure that makes up this meerkat clan. I have heard of ants dividing up jobs and everyone working together but the meerkats are just amazing. The family dynamics of the clan are so engaging. It is as interesting as watching a prime time tv show, reality or fiction. Everyone should check it out. Check your local listings for times. The new shows air Friday night at 8pm on Animal Planet. You’ll love it. I promise.
Michael and I had a fantastic day out. We dropped Yacko off at school. (First day as a fourth grader). Then Wacko and Dot went to Grandma’s. We went off spending the day doing whatever Michael wanted. (It’s his birthday tomorrow.) We went to Menards, Home Depot, Best Buy, ate lunch, went down town and to the used furniture store by school to kill time. (We ended up buying a new couch. We really needed one.) Then we picked Yacko up from school and the double trouble from grandma and then went home to get ready for football practice. It was picture night. We got some good ones. It always amazes me how much older he looks in those pictures.
Wacko begins his training tomorrow. We’ve kinda let him believe it’s part of quest and he needs to train for it. In reality he starts taekwando. 3 days a week he trains. The great thing is both Michael and I are able to do it to with him (all for one membership). This will be good exercise for us and we can’t quit because that will send the wrong message to Wacko. So I hope it works for us.
2 more full weeks and Dot starts preschool. She’s ready for it. She spells her full name, and her brothers first and last names. She can recognize most of the letters she has trouble with W and M. Poppa is going to start the lower case flash cards with her. Dot also likes to cut and draw more and is doing a much better job. Her interest in it pulls Wacko into trying it too so he’s getting better too. I don’t think there will be preschool in Wacko’s future this year. He just doesn’t want to go. It costs way too much money to send him fighting and screaming everyday because he doesn’t want to be there. He does say he will go to school when he can go to his brother’s school.
Wow I guess I kinda rambled. Sorry I tend to do that if I’ve already taken my ambien for the night. I’ll just goto bed now. Goodnight
